Susan Marie Lindstrom

It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Marie Lindstrom (Pratt) announces her passing on 21 Nov 2025 in Courtenay, BC at the age of 76.

Susan was predeceased by her father Ron Pratt in 2004.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Brian, daughters Richelle (Carlisle), Leanne, Karen (Shannon), son David (Jaime), grandchildren Chadwick (Angel), Brooke, Grady, Veronica (Jake), Osten, Zack, Slade, Baylee, Flint, & Opal; her mother Ann, sister Rhonda (Dan), brother Oopie (Laurie) and by many family and friends.

Born and raised in the Comox Valley (Union Bay), Susan could be found volunteering with the Pythian Sisters, Union Bay Community Church, Union Bay Hall, Girl Guides or wherever a helping hand was needed. She played softball and was a back catcher. Susan and Brian shared a love to camp, starting out with tenting and eventually moving up to motorhomes. These outdoor adventures permitted Susan to enjoy her love of books, reading almost every day, and playing many games of cards. Christmas was her favourite time of year, where she loved spending time with family and friends; baking, decorating, singing carols and creating crafts. Susan and Brian had many adventures, with a trip to Africa as a memorable highlight.

She will be missed dearly and the family will remember her with the greatest love and affection.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family extends sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Comox Valley Hospital who took great care of her.

A Celebration of Life for Susan Lindstrom will be held at the Union Bay Community Church, Saturday, 27 Dec 2025 at 1 PM.
