Wilfred passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, January 16, 2017 in Parksville BC at the age of 97. He is lovingly remembered by his three sons and their spouses, Jim and Lisa, Gary and Laurie, Ron and Tracey, his daughter Kathryn and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Connor, Matthew, Kristoffer, Rebecca, Liam, and Cassidy. Wilf will also be missed by his long-time friend, Joy Logan and the Logan family, Daryl, Jeff, Merril and Tracy. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Alice; wife, Georgina; siblings, Milton, Loyce and Harlandp; and son in law Carl Wilson, all of whom were no doubt there to greet him.
Wilf will be remembered for his honesty, intelligence, and sense of humour.
A small private service and wake will be held by the immediate family on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the research and elimination of Alzheimer’s would be appreciated by the family.
