Zoran (Djordge) Cudovski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zoran Cudovski on the morning of June 21, 2024, in Nanaimo B.C., at the age of 69. Zoran was born on April 10, 1955 in Skopje, Macedonia. He is predeceased by his father Djordje, mother Bojana, and sister Slobodanka. Zoran is survived by his loving and devoted wife Olga, children Aneta and Djordje, grandchildren Danica and Danilo, sister Elisaveta and family members Ceranic, Ristic, Gajic, Lazovic, Jacimovic, along with many other friends and relatives.

Zoran was born in Skopje, Macedonia, and moved to Novi Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a child. It was there that he met the love of his life, Olga. They have been together for 48 years and have raised their two children, Aneta and Djordje. In 1998 they immigrated to Canada. He has since lived in Parksville, B.C., where he worked at Trillium Lodge and enjoyed a family life on the Island.

Zoran had a deep love for nature and outdoor adventures, and he was a member of the search and rescue team in his native hometown. He was also a passionate storyteller, captivating many with his tales, especially with his rich life experiences from his home country. His boisterous presence would always fill the room with his stories and humour. He loved the company of close friends and had a welcoming heart towards everyone he met. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

Please join us for the celebration of Zoran's life at 1:00 - 4:30 pm, on July 2, 2024, at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, B.C.
