Bill loved to fish and enjoyed watching every sport imaginable, always cheering on his Houston teams. He spent years taking his family on memorable fishing trips to Canada and enjoyed time fishing in Rockport, Texas.

The family will invite friends and family to a celebration of Bill’s life at Uvalde Baptist Church on October 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow in the church gymnasium. Capacity will be limited, and masks will be required.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast Hospital for their care and compassion in Bill’s final moments with us on earth.

Mr Pelfrey, I recall him as being, a great provider, mentor, Man. I’m thankful to have known such a man. He always welcomed us. Always a smile and warm greeting for everyone. Mrs Pelfrey the same, such a pleasure to talk to and be there for her family. Hunter you had the very best mentor possible, in Bill Pelfrey. I’m so sorry for the entire family, for the world has passed on a wonderful Angel for the All Mighty. Try not to be sad, because Bill Pelfrey walks the streets of gold. I pray for strength for the family. That’s who is suffering. In God’s name Amen. Love you all! Bigboy and Delia

The loss of a friend is always hard, but I know Mr. Bill (as I call him) is at peace and fishing in the crystal sea. He will be missed.
I always asked Mr. Bill when I saw him on Sunday morning at church how he was doing and his reply, " you'll have to ask Sandy" always with a smile. Until we see you again.
To all of the family, I share in your loss.
My prayers are with each and everyone of you.
