Celina Crane

Celina was born to Crisostomo and Lee Ann Gonzalez on November 2, 1982 at Bayshore Hospital, Pasadena TX. Celina graduated from Deer Park High School in 2001 and then the University of Houston at Clear Lake in the spring of 2012 with a Bachelor degree in Social Work.

Celina was united in marriage with Kevin Crane on April 10, 2010. Although they were never blessed with biological children they were unofficial adoptive and/or god parents to any child in need of love and attention. Celina and Kevin were official God Parents to Charlee and Cayden Bryant, the twins that Celina affectionately called their Tweedles.

Although Celina’s initial goal was to use her degree to advocate for children in need through child services early last year she changed her goal. She and Kevin decided to begin the process necessary to become foster parents. They were just short of achieving their goal when Celina received the cancer diagnosis.

Celina loved spending time with family and friends, talking, laughing, playing games and just enjoying being together. She was artistic and crafty. She loved to make cards and such by hand to give them that personal touch of love.

Celina is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Crisostomo and Beatriz Gonzalez Sr, her maternal grandparents Lee C. (Rusty) and Bertha E. Fox, her aunt Mary Perkins and her cousin Joseph Michael Gonzalez.

Celina is survived by her devoted loving husband Kevin M. Crane, her nieces Mickee and Carlee Crane and Stormie and Jody Rietsma, her loving father and mother-in-law Ed and Carol Crane. She is also survived by her adoring and adored baby sister Lorelia C. Gonzalez and her parents Crisostomo and Lee Ann Gonzalez also God Parents Margaret Jasso and Celedonio Gonzalez. Additionally Celina is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Last but never least she is also survived by her bestie Valorie Armour and her other bestie Caressa Clarno and her other bestie Becky Ortega who is also her dear cousin.

Services will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel at 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502 on December 22, 2016 at 1:30 PM followed by burial at Grand View Memorial Park at 8513 Spencer Hwy. Pasadena, TX 77505.
