With heavy hearts, we share the sorrowful news of the passing of our cherished son, Christopher Martin Matthews, on February 18, 2025, at the tender age of 33.

Born on March 30, 1991, Christopher illuminated the lives of all he encountered, radiating joy and warmth. A devoted son and loving father to his children, he was a treasured friend to many. His vibrant spirit, kindness, and laughter will echo in our hearts forever.

Christopher was a career mechanic and worked at Briggs Equipment. He loved his job and the team he worked with. He considered them more than co-workers, they were friends, family.

Christopher held a deep passion for God, dedicating his life to sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he met, always gazing toward the heavens. With a generous and humble heart, he tirelessly helped those in need. As an extraordinary father to his son, Alexander, and daughter, Olivia, he created cherished memories. Alexander fondly recalls their playful superhero adventures, always knowing that his Dad was the true hero in his life, inspiring immense pride.

He is survived by his spouse Errin Ross, beloved children, son Alexander Matthews and daughter Olivia Matthews; his parents, Steven and Eva Matthews; his sister Brittaney Williams (Matt); grandparents Judy and Larry Marshall; Grandfather Charles E. Gillispie; Uncle Mark Gillispie (Vicki), Uncle Matthew Gillispie, Aunt Annette Cook (Vic), Jason Cook (Mariah), Cassandra Cornett (Cliff); niece(s) Charlie Adams, Parker Adams; nephew(s) Brayden White and Mason Adams; cousins, and countless friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A memorial service to celebrate his beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Pasadena Funeral Home at 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena Texas 77502.

We find solace in the knowledge that he now rests in peace, and his memory will thrive through the countless lives he touched.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77502.
