Dan was the rock of the family. I know this through his baby sister Rachel. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dan is with our Heavenly Father and the family members that are there before him. We can look forward to the day when we will all be together again.
With deepest sympathies,
Carolyn Rice and Alina Bolua

Dan I asked God last night to give me and the rest of the family the strength and peace that we need to say goodbye to you

Brother I always looked for you to give me good advise when I needed it
I knew who to call when I wasn’t sure about something and you were always there to help me
You were a man of your word cause when you gave your word
You meant it

I will miss talking to you
and making plans on who is
cooking what for the holidays
But in our hearts we know that you are in a better place with the rest of our love ones
We love you and We will miss you so much
Love you always your baby sister

Uncle Dan is one of the greastest men i have ever known and looked up to. Family was everthing to him, and his Hill Counrty and westerns movies aswell. I credit for him for me being alive, and what i mean by that is that he took charge and raised my dad to be the man he is, and that was passed to me. If not for him, my dad would not have ever made it and i would have never been born. Thats how much he meant to me. Im privileged to have been able to talk to him and feel that fir hand shake one last time on Friday and im glad i was there. Till we meet again uncle Dan, i know you will do as you always did and will be watching over the whole family.
Love You Uncle.....
