Diana Kay Lohman

Diana Kay Brazil Lohman passed away in Highlands, Texas on September 2, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. She spent the last several years of her life in various assisted living facilities before moving to ADL in highlands, which provided the best care she could possibly receive. She spent her last several days under constant care from Serenity Hospice. Special thank you to Ralph and Kathleen Hansen for their faithful visits to the facilities, and love and support for Diana.

Diana was born on February 27, 1947, to Raymond Brazil and Laverne Chancellor Brazil in McAlester, Oklahoma. Her family moved to Orange, Texas in 1956 and subsequently moved to Baytown, Texas, where she attended Robert E. Lee Hight School. She worked at the Johnson Space Center in the Astronaut Office during the years that US Astronauts landed on the moon, transcribing the calls between the Lunar Astronauts and Mission Control in Houston. She retired from Harris County where she worked approving loans for low-income residents. She spent most of her life in service to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was selfless in reaching out to people who needed anything, giving comfort to all in need, working as part of Ask God Ministries for many years. She loved her family and had a special love for horses.

Diana is survived by her sons, David Lohman and his wife Rachelle, Derek Lohman and his partner Rodney Bradshaw; her brother Dennis Brazil and his wife Avelina; and her sister Debra Brazil Foster and her husband William. She is also survived by nieces Michelle Brazil Foster, Kelly Foster, and Stephanie Foster; nephews Timothy Brazil, Jeremy Foster, and Stephen Foster; great-nieces Alayna Foster, Carissa Foster, and Tara Brazil; great-nephew Tyler Brazil.

Visitation will be at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 9:00am. Services will follow at 10:00am with a reception after the service.
