He is survived by his children, Serprena Alonso and her spouse Roman, Edward Villanueva, Jr. and his spouse Maria, Monico Villanueva, Angel Gonzalez, Edward Brandon Villanueva , Michelle Villanueva; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Hey Grandpa, Thanks for all the memories. It was nice growing up with you on Bertrand. You always were telling stories. Then you made be be nice to my cousins who lived a few blocks back, because we would always fight, stupid kids stuff. Then you moved away and a few years I moved and we were reunited again. Those were fun times too, always making sure we were okay. For some reason you insisted on teaching me how to make liver and onions, even though I don't eat either things. I still learned though, just in case. Anyways you'll be truly missed, we love you always.

Condolences to all his children, brothers and sisters, my son Edward Brandon will miss his father, He was funny at times and stern at times but he loved his children, grand children and great grand children. He is at peace now, the pain is gone, he fault a long hard battle with cancer, he never gave up,
