Esmeralda T. Sauceda

Esmeralda T. Sauceda, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on June 9th, 1956, in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.

Esmeralda was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo C. and Guadalupe S. Torrez, and her siblings: Ernesto, Efrain, Danny, Estella, Domingo Jr., Estevan Sr., Eduardo, and Raul. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Erica Ann Sauceda, Guadalupe (Nena) Sauceda, and Eddie Sauceda Jr., as well as her cherished grandsons, Adrian Uribe Sauceda, Eddie Andrew Sauceda, and Ernest Moralez Jr.

She is also survived by her siblings: Esperanza (Jesse) Fuentes, Blanca (Rudy) Reyes, Susanna Garcia, Reymundo (Anita) Torrez, Jose Luis (Esther) Torres, and Ruben Torres, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Among them, her niece and goddaughter Melinda Franco Ruiz held a special place in her heart, as did Ruby Ann Reyes, who she cherished as her own daughter.

Esmeralda was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her radiant smile and pure heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She possessed a remarkable ability to see the good in others, teaching all who knew her the power of love, forgiveness, and understanding. If anything, we hope all can learn from her, as she could never see any wrong in anyone.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Steve Jr. for his unconditional support and to friends Amanda Cuevas, Cindy Rodriguez, Ida Lopez, and Adriana Montañez for their compassionate care during Esmeralda’s final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Blessing and liturgy at 10am. Rosary at 11am. Funeraria Del Angel, 901 main Pasadena, Texas 77506, on Saturday November 2nd, 2024. Visitation with the family will begin at 10am - 4pm.
