It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fannie Mae Garner (Francis) on January 23, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on January 8, 1934, Fannie lived a life devoted to faith, family, and spreading kindness to everyone she met.
Fannie was the beloved wife of the late Jimmy Garner, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. She was also the cherished daughter of Troy and Allie Tullos, who preceded her in death and whose values of compassion and strength she carried throughout her life.
She leaves behind her loving children: son Jimmy Garner and wife Pam, son Troy Garner, and daughter Connie Lentz and husband David. Fannie was a proud and adoring grandmother to her grandchildren: Stephanie Bruderer and husband Bart, Matthew Garner and wife Christine, Joshua Vick, Michael Lentz and wife Tiffany, and Angela Rodbumrung and husband Jason. She was also deeply loved by her 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride.
Fannie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and selfless devotion to her family and community. She was a constant source of love, wisdom, and support, and her kind heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of Fannie Mae Garner’s life will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a service at 10:00 a.m., both at Pasadena Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble.
Though she is no longer with us, Fannie’s love, grace, and unwavering faith will forever live in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Rest in peace, Fannie Mae. You are now reunited with your beloved husband, parents, and heavenly Father in eternal grace. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
