Felix Hinojosa of Pasadena, Texas, entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2025, at 80 years of age. Born on January 15, 1945, in Rancho Los Guerras, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Felix was the beloved son of Demetrio and Santos Hinojosa.
Felix was a man of quiet strength, unwavering love, and deep devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 55 years, Amelia Hinojosa, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and enduring partnership.
He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Felix Hinojosa Jr. and wife Staci, Maricruz Escareno and husband William, and Emelia Rodriguez and husband Rudy. Felix was a proud and devoted grandfather to Brandon and Irma Roessler, Adriana and Jonathan Muller, Andrea Escareno, Brooke Hinojosa, Brianna Hinojosa, Alyssa and Daniel Benkin, William Escareno Jr., and Dylan Rodriguez. His joy was multiplied by the presence of his ten great-grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his later years.
Felix is also survived by his sister Mireya Hinojosa Casanova, and he is reunited in peace with his late siblings, Adalberto Hinojosa, Aracely Sarabia and Dalia Gonzales.
Felix had a deep love for the outdoors, especially the calm of fishing and the quiet patience of hunting. These pastimes reflected who he was: steady, thoughtful, and deeply appreciative of life's quiets gifts.
A man of integrity, humility, and quiet wisdom, Felix will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the values he lived by, and the strength with which he faced life’s joys and hardships. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
