Georgia Anne Kelly

Georgia Anne Kelly, a devoted and caring woman, passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a resident of Alvin, Texas. Born on July 6, 1939, in Roanoke, Virginia, she was raised in Houston, TX. After this introduction, Georgia will be remembered as a steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew her.

Georgia was married for 25 years to the late George O. Kelly. Her life reflected quiet strength and unwavering responsibility, especially in honoring her mother’s wishes by looking after her disabled brother, Charles Parons, for 20 years.

Georgia’s interests brought her comfort and joy—she loved reading, spending time in game rooms, and taking pride in lawn care. These simple pleasures spoke to her thoughtful nature and the steady way she cared for both her home and the people around her.

She will be deeply missed by her son Robert Permenter, daughter in-law Maria Permenter, and many nephews and nieces.

Georgia was preceded in death by George O. Kelly, who passed away in 2013, and her brother Charles B. Parsons, who passed away in November 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502, US, on April 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
