Bro. and Sis. Carrigan were such precious people. I will never forget their smiles, laughter, hugs and words of encourgement that they have shared with my family down through the years. As a young person, one thing I noticed is they were consistant, they were faithful to the house of God and they knew how to pray. They lived for Jesus and they let their light shine. Kathy, Greg and Brent, we are holding you and your precious families up in prayer. I love you all.

Bro & Sis Carrigan were two of the sweetest people I have ever known. They were truly missed when they had to change churches due to their health. Bro Carrigan always greeted you with a big smile and sometimes a truly funny story. If you knew them, you loved them! Such sadness knowing that they have left this life but oh what a joy that it is to know that they are no longer suffering in pain but are running down those streets of gold.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing this dear sweet couple for 40 years, and I’ve never once met a more loving and kind family than the Carrigan’s. I lived down the street from them on Tanglebriar as a child, and was always welcomed into their home with open arms. They loved unconditionally and served the Kingdom of God wholeheartedly.....great is their reward in Heaven. Thank you James and Elsie for a lifetime of love.

James was always fun to be around and he didn't mind pulling a joke on himself.

One day at break time, he took the liner out of his hard hat and put it back on, almost covering his ears. Then he took out his false teeth and started acting like a hillbilly.

Someone in the back of the break room yelled out, "Put your teeth back in Jim, you've done scared Arlie Moak!" The biggest man that ever worked at Rohm and Haas.

And at least four people, including myself, laughed so hard we spilled our coffee!

This couple was one of the first people to welcome me to the church as a teenager and sinner. They loved me unconditionally. Always a smile on their faces. He gave me the nick name smutt I have no idea how he came up with that. When my oldest daughter was born he held her and called her smutt jr. I will never forget them.
