John made his grand entrance into this world by the way of Temple, Texas to Feliciano Perez Vasquez and Romana Herrera Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Zoila Nunez Medrano, whom he married in 1963, they were married 31 years. John leaves behind his two daughters, Sonia Anaya, whom he called his partner in crime and Veronica Perez, whom shared his love for music and gardening, his five grandchildren, Brenda Puapuaga , Janeth Medrano, Anamelissa Anaya, Abigail Anaya and Joshua Anaya, and his 4 great grandchildren, Noah Puapuaga, Elias Puapuaga, Ariel Reza and Zoila Medrano. John was known by several names but was given the nickname “Tito” by his granddaughter, Anamelissa, whom couldn’t pronounce “abuelito” correctly and thus was his name among the family who adored him. He was often known as bold and brave in his youth, and those qualities only intensified throughout the years. He started many businesses and was very clearly an entrepreneur. Only he would read one mechanic’s manual and open a shop confident of its success. His fashion sense and love of worshiping God through music will never be forgotten because no one could sport purple or sing his heart out to the lord like him. He spent his years sharing the gospel and tinkering in his garage and now barbacoa on Sunday’s with the family will never be the same.
