Joseph Allen Bishop Joseph Allyn Bishop, 85, passed away on September 17, 2015 with his beloved dog J.J. at his side. Graveside service will be held at a future date at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. He was proceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Nelda Jo Bishop. Allyn was a 42 year employee of The Houston Chronicle. Services will be conducted by American Legion Post 521 with Rev. Royce Scott officiating. Allyn requested no flowers please. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bayshore Medical Center Volunteer Scholarship Fund for training nurses in honor of Nelda Jo Bishop.
