

He is preceded in death by his father Ebby Sloan Haynie. He is survived by his two loving daughters Carrie and Julie Haynie , and their mother Joyce Haynie- Perkins and husband Wayne Perkins, mother Nettie Mae Haynie, brother Dennis Haynie and his wife Robbin, sister Gail Wallace and her husband Rick, aunt Eva Waters and husband Wiley E. Waters, nieces Candi Cordova and husband Noel Cordova and Tiffany Marshall and husband Brandon Marshall, and his nephew Doug.
A graduate of Sam Houston State, Kenneth pursued his dream of becoming a police officer after receiving his Bachelors in Criminal Justice. He proudly served over 30 years for Pasadena, Leon County, and Buffalo police departments. He was a highly distinguished officer within Pasadena, where he grew up.
Kenneth was a kind spirited, loving, family oriented person who cherished his girls, Carrie and Julie, more than anything. He loved spending time in the country, hunting, and being outdoors. His stories were insurmountable and always followed by laughter. Ken had a smile that could light up a room and never met a stranger. His memory will be cherished by all those who knew and loved him.
