Leon Daggett, 72, died October 19, 2020. He was born July 28, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the parentage of the late L.C. and Minnie Will Esther Daggett. Leon would always let you know exactly how he felt. He told you to your face. He was truly a comedian personified and would definitely have you laughing after being in his presence. Leon was a stylish dresser and had a very distinct swag how he carried himself. He was an avid sports fans and enjoyed watching countless hours using his beloved remote control flipping through channels. Leon was of a member of Christ Temple The Peoples Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Destry C. Bell, Sr. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Virden, Betty Wilson and Louis Daggett. He is survived by his wife Carolyne Smith Daggett with whom he began this journey 53 years ago; sons, Jai (Katie) Daggett, Corey (Dionne) Daggett, Leotis Daggett and Kevin Mize; sisters, Gloria Goodwell and Peggy Daggett Jones; Brothers-in-laws, Rev. Harold (Paulette) Smith and James Wilson; special-daughter, Miesha Burke Johnson; 6 grandchildren, Kaia, Jaison, Kadeja, Jada, Andrenai and Jerome III; nephew, Dr. Kendrek (Kelli) Herron, niece, Kneni Herron and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
