

Linda Teel, age 77 of Deer Park, Texas passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2024. She was born on September 28th, 1946 in Colmesneil, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents CJ Riley and Lorene Riley. She was married to her loving husband William “Butch” Teel for 58 years.
Linda loved to craft and bake. She worked for over 20 years in the Pasadena Police Department in the records department. Linda, “Nana” was instrumental in starting the tradition of making homemade cookies and having the grandkids and great grandkids decorate them every Christmas. She truly treasured and embraced every moment she spent with her family. You could tell by the way her face would light up each time she spoke of them. She and Butch didn’t miss an activity that involved any family member.
Linda is survived by her husband Butch, and her children Jason and his wife Judy and Yancy. Also, by her brothers, Danny and his wife Sandy Riley and Jimmy and his wife Susan Riley. Her grandsons, Taylor and his wife Kelley and Tyler and his wife Danielle and Mason. Her great grandchildren: Jordan, Jackson, Charlie, Claire, Nolan and Nathan.
A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a graveside service at 11:00AM.
Immediately following the graveside service, all guests are invited to the home of Jason and Judy Teel for food and dessert: 2225 Wayside Court, Deer Park, Texas 77536.
