Lisa, 58, was truly one of a kind. She had a beautiful smile that could light up a room, a sense of humor that kept those around her laughing, and a personality all her own. Outspoken and fiercely independent, she was never afraid to speak her mind.
Above all, Lisa was a woman of unwavering faith. As a devoted Christian, she loved the Lord and was never shy about sharing that love with others. Her relationship with Jesus was the center of her life, and she found joy in serving Him through her church, especially in the church nursery. She cherished her church family and took pride in serving alongside them.
Through the most difficult season of her life, Lisa held tightly to her faith and stayed positive. She believed she would overcome what she was facing and carried that hope with her every step of the way. Whenever she spoke about it, she would say three simple but powerful words: "He's got me." Those words reflected the trust in her heart. No matter what came her way, Lisa believed she was in His hands, and her strength and determination were a testament to the faith she lived so openly.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Linda Ellison. Her Grandparents John and Iris Buchanan. She is survived by her three brothers and their wives, Frank Jr. and Teresa Ellison, Michael and Rebecca Ellison, and Gregory and Abbie Ellison, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will each remember her in their own special way.
Though her life was far too short, Lisa lived it on her own terms and stood firmly in what she believed. Her laughter, her bold spirit, and her love for Jesus will remain her legacy. As we remember her, may her words, "He's got me," bring comfort to all who mourn her and serve as a reminder of the Savior she loved so dearly.
Lisa's earthly journey has ended, but her faith and her love for Jesus will never be forgotten.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7
