My husband was and continues to be a very special person in our lives, he liked to share and was very happy at every Christmas and any activity.  He liked to barbecue and he loved the Army.  His great-grandfather was in World War II.  An exemplary father, the best that God gave me for my daughters.  Dedicated to work, her family, and friends.  He was very responsible and accepted God into his heart.  We celebrated 34 years of marriage in September and we were happy with our daughters and grandchildren.  God is with his spirit and may he rest in peace.  This is not a departure, it is the beginning of being born again in Christ.  I am grateful for his entire Lonestar family who have supported me spiritually throughout the hospital in his job, They have been with me and my daughters in this very difficult moment.  And thank you to all of our family and friends for their prayers.  Thank you and God bless you.  I will miss him so much from the bottom of my heart.  I know we had many plans with him to spend the rest of our lives together.  I respect God's plans and accept his departure. God bless all of you.

To my battle buddy, my brother my friend. Though we only knew each other for a short time it felt like a lifetime. I want to thank you for welcoming me as a co- worker and as a part of your family. It was definitely an honor and a pleasure having a chance to get to know you. Your values, morals and loyalty to your friends and family did not go unnoticed. You will be truly missed by your family, your work family and your military family. We love you brother. Drive on Soldier, Drive On. Hooah.

Dad,

I love you so much, and I am truly going to miss you. I know we have went through major bumps and road, and I want you to know I am thankful that I was able to build a strong bond with you. I know how proud you were that I've been in the army. You would get so excited. You would listen to my hurt, my pain, my worries, and you dedicated your life to God. I'm so thankful we built this connection before you go. You are the best grandfather my kids could ask for. Thank you for being there for my family when I need you the most. My heart hurts heavy knowing you are leaving, but I know you won't be suffering anymore. You are going to be an angel, And I know you will right by my side. The kids love you so much, you have no idea. Zane was your bestie and man he loves his papa. Y'all would play with army toy figures and said I want to be a soldier like you and mommy. I remember you telling me Everytime you seen zaniyah, you see me. You love the way that Jeremiah has so much love for you, and Hendrix loved his papa. I know mom is going to miss you so much. My heart filled with joy knowing y'all's relationship was getting better. I am so happy for y'all. 
I will continue to pray for all those that loved my and remembered my dad to being such a hard worker and putting his kids no matter how late in life. I know you will be in heaven with your dad, and I know y'all had the last great moments before he passed, and great grandma as well. So many loved ones has gone. 

I love you dad, you will always be in my heart. I won't give up, I remember the encouraging messages and random calls you had when I was deployed. I won't fail you dad, I will continue to be successful and I won't let you down. Till we meet again dad.
