She was born in Freer Texas on February 19, 1967 to Pedro Garza & Irma Velasquez. She was married to Gregorio Zamora for 27 years. Luby was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was an active member of the community, helping mothers in need in the Pasadena Texas Moms FaceBook Group. Luby has a passion for donating blood and was a registered organ donor. She was involved with the Proud To Be Tejano & Rodney O. Productions Groups.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Garza and her father, Pedro Garza.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Zamora, her children Ruby (Mehmet) Karaca, and Christian (Alejandra) Zamora. Grandchildren Alicianna and Emerie. Her mother Irma. Her siblings Sylvia, Rudy, Pedro, and Minerva.
