Maria Elena DeOchoa

Maria was born on September 11, 1942, in San Juan, Nuevo León, Mexico to the late Martin and Maria Romona Olivares. Maria Elena lived in Pasadena, TX for 38 years before moving to the Clear Lake area sixteen years ago. Maria was preceded in death by her Husband Maurilio, brother Martin, nephew Gilbert, and her parents.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, in addition to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Children and spouses, Jose Maurilio and Natalie DeOchoa of Pearland, TX and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; Miguel and Diane DeOchoa of Pearland, TX and grandchildren Heather Quiriarte, Angel Quint, Jennifer Quint, Crystalin DeOchoa, Great grandchildren Daniel Quint, Jacob Torres, Christopher Torres, Irene Torres, and McConner Quint, Lyla Quint and Great-Great Grandchildren Mateo Torres; Melissa and Michael Tibbetts of Clear Lake, TX and Grandchildren Antonio, Eric and Emma; Melinda and John David Cordova of Pasadena, TX and grandchildren and great grandchildren; and Marco Antonio and Samantha of Clear Lake, TX and grandchildren, Dominic, Charles and Emma. Maria Elena is also survived by her siblings—Jesus, Enrique, Jose Guadalupe, Alfonso, Maria del Carmen, and Minerva—as well as their spouses, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday January 7th, 2025, from 4PM-9PM at Funeraria Del Angel located at 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506. The services will be Thursday January 8th, 2025, at 10AM at Funeraria Del Angel followed by a committal service at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.

Maria Elena DeOchoa, una mujer amada, fiel, de buen corazón y considerada, falleció el 31 de diciembre de 2025, a la edad de 83 años. Nacida el 11 de septiembre de 1942, en San Juan, Nuevo León, México, Maria Elena fue una residente querida de Houston, Texas.

Se llevará a cabo una visita el 7 de enero de 2026, de 4:00 pm a 9:00 pm en la Funeraria Del Angel, ubicada en 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506. Una Vigilia de Oración / Rosario tendrá lugar en el mismo lugar el 7 de enero de 2026, de 7:00 pm a 7:30 pm.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el 8 de enero de 2026, de 10:00 am a 10:10 am en la Funeraria Del Angel. Después del servicio, el entierro se realizará en el Grand View Memorial Park, ubicado en 8516 Spencer Hwy, Deer Park, TX 77536, de 11:00 am a 11:30 am.
