She is survived by her son Robert Luis; daughter Rebecca Diaz; daughter Rosalie Reyes; her three brothers, her eight grandchildren, her eleven greatgrandchildren and her five great-greatgrandchildren. Mrs Garcia was preceded in death by a son Richard Luis; a daughter Rachel Arrevalo; her husband Antonio P. Garcia; her parents Pedro Luis and Luz Trevino; two brothers and her son-in-law Salvador Diaz.
