Maria de Los Angeles Garcia

Maria De los Angeles Garcia, 87, of League City, Texas, passed away October 16th, 2024. She was born in Leon Guanajuato on July 22nd, 1937 to Jose Luz Vilchis and Ma Rufugio Padilla. She was married to Juan Garcia Ochoa for 20 years.

Maria had a career as a music composer for American Consul and was later enjoyed being a housewife. She had a passion for music, singing, cooking, and most important was taking care of her children.

She is preceded in death by spouse Juan Garcia Ochoa, her parents Jose Luz Vilchis and Ma Rufugio Padilla, her son Julian Garcia, sisters Ma Teresa Padilla and Ma Lourdes Goana. She is survived by Rosa Maria Salazar, Juan Carlos Garcia, Jose Antonio Garcia, and spouse Mayra Garcia, Ma De Los Angeles Garcia, Martha Alisha Garcia, Juan Manuel Garcia, and spouse Catherine Garcia, Lina De Fatima Ivon and spouse Marco A. Ivon, Veronica Garcia Vilchis. Maria had 32 grandchildren and 40 Great Grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces, one brother Margan to Vilchis Padilla and spouse Antonia Vilchis.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502.
