Lulu lived in Pasadena, Texas, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love. Throughout her life, Lulu was cherished and beloved by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She carried herself with quiet bravery and resilience, meeting life with steady strength and a faithful spirit. Her devotion to family was constant, and her compassion and kind-hearted nature were felt in the everyday ways she cared for others—thoughtful, selfless, and honest in all she did. A hard-working woman of wisdom and integrity, Lulu leaves behind a legacy of love, steadiness, and grace.
Lulu is survived by her husband for 47 years, Dennis Mendez; her son, Anthony Mendez and wife Jessica; her grandchildren, Miah, Marisol, Adrian; her brothers, Elias, Jr., Daniel,and Carlos; her sisters, Rosie, Cristina, Irma, Gloria and Eva; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, friends and other relatives.
Lulu was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Perez and Maria Julia Dunker.
