Ella nació en McAllen, Texas el 13 de marzo de 1951. Dedicó su vida a su esposo e hijos. Creó un hogar acogedor para todos, y nosotros, su familia, estaremos eternamente agradecidos por su determinación, fortaleza, amor incondicional, apoyo y guía. Sus fuertes valores familiares y su profunda fe en Dios vivirán por siempre en nosotros. La extrañaran aquellos que la amaron y los que ella amó. Deja atrás a su esposo René, sus cuatro hijos, catorce nietos y 11 bisnietos.

Our precious mother, Maria Estela Montes, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Mcallen, TX to Natividad and Socorro Preciado on March 13, 1951. She devoted her life to her husband and children. She created a nurturing home for all, and we, her family, will forever be grateful for her determination, strength, unconditional love, support and guidance. Her strong family values and deep faith in God will forever live in us. She will greatly be missed by those she loved and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years. Rene, her four children, fourteen grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
