Maudice Rhodes, age 84 of Pasadena Texas went to be in the loving arms of Jesus on Monday November 13, 2017.

She loved God first and foremost and she loved her family with her whole heart. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caring friend. She loved her church. She loved children and worked many years of her life as a Sunday school teacher sharing God’s love. She passed along her love of scripture and hymns to many generations of families and children she taught. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Floyd Rhodes, her parents, W.E. Vaughn and Myrtie Vaughn, brothers, J.E. Vaughn, Arnold Vaughn and Earsel Vaughn and sister Lavern Johnson. She is survived by sister Druenell Evans and brother Wayne Vaughn, six loving children, Joy Darden, Gay Matthews, Merry Robinson, Terry Rhodes, Mona Glover and Wendell Rhodes (Daughter in law Lisa Rhodes, son in laws Glenn Darden and Roger Robinson). She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Family would like to thank Grace Hospice and Pasadena Colonial Oaks for their loving care, kindness and support to her and her family.
