

Mishaine Christine Menger, 67, passed away peacefully in Pasadena, Tx, on July 27, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1958, in Pasadena, TX. Mishaine was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, faithful servant of God, and cherished friend. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Cosmetology and spent her career as a cosmetologist, touching the lives of countless clients. For 45 wonderful years, Mishaine shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband James. She was the proud mother of her daughter Lauren, and her son James Aaron, and daughter in law Ana-Alicia. She was a doting grandmother to James and William. She is also survived by her sister, Angel Bridges, her brothers, Ken (Brenda) and Skip (Lisa); along with many extended family members. Mishaine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Kenneth and Patricia Menard; sister Christine, and brother Keith. She faithfully served her church in many capacities and many social events. Her willingness to serve reflected her generous heart and unwavering devotion to God and her church family. Mishaine had a gift for making everyone feel at home. Her house was the heart of countless family gatherings. She loved cheering on the Astros, cooking, fishing, participating in water aerobics and Birthday Club, and never missed an episode of the Price is Right. Perhaps nothing reflected Mishaine's heart more than her love for animals. She never turned away a pet in need and lovingly welcomed countless animals into her home over the years. Mishaine's kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and unconditional love for her family, friends, church, and animals leave behind a legacy. While her family grieves the loss of her earthly presence, they find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.
Her service will be Friday August 7th at St. Pius V Catholic Church. 824 Main St. Pasadena 77506. There will be a Rosary at 10:15AM and the Funeral service to follow. A reception will be held after the service.
