It’s been one year today since you left us. We miss very much .  You accomplished so much in your short life time. Until we are all united together again. I love you son.

I remember all the good times we spent together. You always sent me crazy texts that made me laugh.

Omar, I have been remembering some of the good memories we had. This past Father's Day was hard to celebrate. I remember the times you would take me to the ball game. Melisa and Frankie and the boys were able to take me to see the Astro game. Also  Melisa rented a cabin at Clearwater Ranch on the Frio River for five days. Noah and Matthew really had a great time. We all had fun. I pray every day that you are resting peacefully with your Mom and everybody from our family. You are missed so much. I wish you could see John and the girls. They are growing up so fast. You were the best Uncle to all the grandkids. Until we are together again Rest in Peace Son.

This was our first Christmas without you. We all miss the memories and the love you would show to Natalie, Noah, Matthew, and Olivia. I know you are in a better place now but the hurt is still there. Thank you Omar for all you did for our family. Merry Christmas in heaven.

Hands down best dude to be around. Would help you with anything! Could always depend on him on a call or having to go hands on with someone. This dude wasn’t scared and made you feel unafraid to handle business because you knew he had your back. I’m gonna miss this funny, great dude. 😔

The service was absolutely lovely. It went with Tristan to the T!  The readings and the songs picked perfect. The church was lovely and the attendance for such a great guy made my heart happy. This dude deserved this beautiful ceremony. 😢

One of the hardest working HPD officers I've ever been around. Was very impressed by Omar during my time at the Southwest Division. Hard working, fearless, and dedicated. RIP Brother!

Celebrating Omar’s return from the Marines.

So sorry to hear about Omar.  I met Omar about 2 years ago.  His mom talked about him all the time.  I asked him was Margaret his mom and he told me yes.  I asked how she was doing?  and he told me that she had passed away.  I worked with her when I was a Jail Attendant.   I am so sorry for your loss.  Omar was a great person and very friendly.  My condolences to the family.

Rest in peace bro and may perpetual light  shine upon you always. I worked with Omar his entire time while at the beechnut/sw patrol Preston station.  (I retired in 12/2020.  Omar was always smiling and always had a funny quip or joke. One thing that always knew is that if I was working and Omar was also working, that it was guaranteed that if I needed or called for back up, Omar would ALWAYS be there. Once I had a call with a crazy guy who was about 6'5" tall and was giving me problems, of course OMAR WAS THE 1ST ONE THERE TO HELP ME.  Rest easy bro. I'm going to miss you.

I played football with Omar in high school. He was a great guy and had a great sense of humor, I always enjoyed being around him. My condolences to his friends and family.

We played football from middle school to high school and had great times back then. I always remember when we won the 7th grade football B team championship and your dad played  “We Are the Champions” when we got back to campus to celebrate. We always clowned around in class and talked about all kinds of stuff and that I will always remember. My dear condolences to the Tristan family.

To my Co-Worker… you were definitely appreciated. I enjoyed working with you running calls and talking with you. You were definitely a hard worker and a great friend to be around. The whole southwest is going to really miss you, rest well brother.

My heart goes out to this family. You are in our prayers. There are lots of good things I can say about Tristan and his wonderful family that space won't permit. Tristan and I rode as partners with HPD for almost 2 years. He was a good person. One night, we had a Robbery-Just Occurred call. The complainant had property stolen, including quite a bit of money. The complainant didn't even have money left to get from one place to another. After gathering the information in preparation to write a report, I looked up and my partner, Tristan, was at the ATM. He got out a significant amount of cash and gave it to the complainant. This was Tristan.
