Born in Weslaco, Texas, in 1951, he lived a full and meaningful life of 74 years. Pablo was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by hard work, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to his family.
Although his early years were filled with challenges, Pablo developed a remarkable resilience and work ethic at a young age. He faced life's obstacles with determination, strength, and a positive spirit that became one of his most admired qualities.
At just 19 years old, he married the love of his life, Heliberta Nieto, and together they built a strong and loving family. They established their home in Houston, Texas, where they raised their children and created a lifetime of beautiful memories.
Pablo’s two great passions were family and fishing. All his children grew up going on fishing trips with their dad, but it was his son, Pablo Zuniga, Jr., who carried on that tradition and passion. Together they shared countless fishing adventures over the years. Pablo took great joy in introducing others to the pastime he loved so much and often included his sons-in- law Jose Carlos, and Eduardo Gonzalez, along with many friends who were eager to join him on his fishing trips.
Above all, Pablo was a family man. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved and took immense pride in watching his family grow through the generations.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Heliberta Zuniga; children, Pablo Zuniga Jr and wife, Nancy; Blanca Gonzalez and husband, Eduardo; Linda Garza and husband, Humberto; Melissa Carlos and husband, Jose; grandchildren, Humberto Garza; Kasandra Zuniga; Pablo Zuniga,III; Cristian Garza; Julian Garza; Alyssa Carlos; Isabella Gonzalez; Diego Zuniga; Jose Carlos; Nicholas Gonzalez; Karina Carlos; Nicole Zuniga (deceased)
