Pat, our mom, was an amazing mother to her four daughters and her 2 bonus sons. She was the grandparent to 19 grandkids and 12 great grandkids and the loving wife to her late husband Kurt. She was the only sister among three cherished brothers and her love for us, her family, and her community was boundless and unwavering.
Mom had a unique gift for making everyone feel special. She never met a stranger. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone she had just met, she made you feel like the most important person in her world. Her kindness and genuine interest in others left a lasting impact on every heart she touched. It is no wonder that she had no enemies; her love and warmth enveloped everyone she encountered.
Her commitment to her church was a cornerstone of her life. Mom loved her church family deeply and was a dedicated mentor in her lifegroup. She found immense joy in volunteering, always ready to lend a helping hand and share her wisdom. Her faith was a guiding light, not only for herself but for everyone around her. Her involvement in the church brought her closer to the community she adored and allowed her to nurture and inspire countless lives.
Mom was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where she formed wonderful relationships and cherished every moment of her involvement. The Society brought her joy, laughter, and camaraderie, and she embraced it with the same enthusiasm and love she showed in all aspects of her life.
Mom’s legacy is one of unconditional love, compassion, and a genuine zest for life. She taught us the importance of kindness, the value of community, and the power of making each person feel valued. Her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched, in the lessons she taught us, and in the love that she so freely gave.
As we remember her today, let us celebrate the beautiful soul that she was. Let us carry forward her legacy by spreading the same love and kindness she shared with us. Mom may no longer be with us in body, but her spirit, her love, and her unwavering faith will forever remain in our hearts.
Thank you, Mom, for the incredible gift of your life. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry your love with us always.
