Roberto C Chapa

He was 84 years old when he went home to see our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of Friday, October 2nd, 2015. He peacefully entered his new life surrounded by his wife and family.

He is known as a devoted, loving, and caring husband and father. He will always be remembered for his playful interaction with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His stellar work ethic began in his early teenage years in the cotton fields and vineyards of Texas, Arizona, and California. His ethical values and hard work carried on through his later years in construction.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Imelda R. Chapa, sons Roberto Carlos married to Rachel, and son Raul Aristeo married to Rosemary, sisters Maria Dalia Mendez and Maria Delia Fabela, grandchildren Dionicia Maria, Robert Anthony, Raul Aristeo, Juan Carlos “Johnny Boy”, Gabriella Omedi, Carlos Ray, great grandchildren Andy, Alexis, Jayden, Aristeo, Aliana, Aubree, and Juan Carlos “Juanito”. As well as a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Manuel Luis and Obidio Eloy. He is also preceded in death and reunited with his only daughter, Iris Omedi.

During his time with us, he touched many lives. Although his physical body may be absent, his presence will always be felt. He will greatly be missed, but never forgotten.
