Rodolfo Martinez Ramirez

Rodolfo “Rudy” Ramirez, while surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025. Rudy was born on October 19, 1946, in Rockport, TX to Ramon and Fidela Ramirez as the baby of 6 children. Rudy was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord and Savior with others. Rudy prioritized participation in a faith community as a Deacon, first at Thomas Avenue Baptist Church in Pasadena, TX, then to Monument Baptist Church in Deer Park, TX. For many years he was dedicated to playing worship music on his guitar and singing in the church choir. Now that he has passed into the arms of our Lord, his physical life on earth is over but it is just beginning of an eternal and beautiful life in Heaven.

Rudy joins his parents Ramon and Fidela Ramirez, Brother Raul Ramirez Sr (Ella Ramirez), Brother Rosendo Ramirez (Felicitas Ramirez) Sister Raquela R Saucedo (Juan Saucedo), Sister Cleo R Plummer (Charlie Plummer), Mother-in-Law Aurora Mary Schultz and his son Romano Ramirez Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife Celia Sally Ramirez, along with his sons Rodolfo “Rudy” Ramirez Jr. (Lesia), Ramon Ramirez, his daughters, Lavonne Ramirez and Yvonne Ramirez Castillo. He is also survived by his sister Rafela Furbee (Harley), 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel from 4pm – 8pm.
