Ruth Harlan

Ruth Harlan, 87 of La Porte, Texas, passed away on Thursday November 5, 2015. She was born in Fredericksburg, Missouri to the late Monroe and Barbara Craig on June 28, 1928. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active member of her church where she taught Sunday school. Ruth had a love for reading and worked as a legal secretary for many years. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Barbara Craig; husband, Kenneth (Bob) Duane Harlan; brother, Ivan; sisters; Comfort and Lydia. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Harlan; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Schmitt husband Craig; great-grandchildren, Courtney Ann Schmitt, Joshua Craig Schmitt; and brother Paul wife Jean. Ruth was loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
