First and foremost Skip was the dad he didn't have to be. Skip was the parent that would listen to me even if it was 2 o'clock in the morning. He'd listen while I complained, cried, or cussed, telling me "tomorrow would be a better day ". Well Skip I've tried your advice this past month I'm still upset,  mad, crying, and cussing... I miss and love you. Your deserve the title of dad.

Skip brought so much joy and love into my life. Right now I don't know how be without him. Every song, every smell reminds me of him.  I know there will never be another love like ours, so until we meet again on the other side, he is saving me a seat. I'll miss him everyday for the rest of my life.  He was and is my hero and best friend forever. You were a good man that was taken way too soon.  Your good nature, selflessness and kindness will be missed by all that really knew you.

Skip, thanks for the memories, we always enjoyed your company at the parties. Keep an eye on us from above.

Thinking of words for what to say, I found that in the English vocabulary there aren't any words to describe what you meant to me and how I feel now that you're gone. My love, adoration, and admiration for you was beyond comprehensible. Although I was never the best at showing these feelings, I just hope you know, where ever you may be in the great beyond, that you were one of the most important people in my life. I based my values, my goals, and my understanding of the world of the things that you and Mimi had taught me little by little growing up. I will always hold those things I learned and the moments we shared closest to my heart, and I will continue to embody and pass on the ideals you instilled in me and the love you taught me still existed in this world. We both recognized the world for what it truly was, and though it may seem that it grows more hopeless, you have given me hope for this world. Thank you so much for being my grandfather, you are one of the most magnificent humans I have encountered in my journey through life. I hope you're watching over me, because I'm going to continue to make you proud. I love you Papa.

Papa I love you, you are the best grandfather a kid couldever ask for, I miss you.  I will miss playing world of warcraftwith you, I will miss you messing with me about getting girls phone numbers, I will miss you playing " I got a brand new girlfriend" in the car, I will miss you at every birthday, I will miss seeing you in the standing cheering for me at my football games, and I will miss our fist bumps. I know you will be watching over me.

Skip was my favorite uncle growing up. I remember pestering him for quarters when I was younger to play the arcade games when my parents used to bowl in the league. Skip was always a very kind man and could always make you laugh! He battled hard for those he loved so dearly. Sadly the world had to say goodbye to a great man with a beautiful soul. Rest in paradise Uncle Skip, we will all miss you so much. I hope to one day see you again.

Carol & Dallas Sparks extent our prayers and sympathy to the Massey family.  Both Linda and Skip were special friends and I know Skip will be remembered by all who knew him.

Words cannot express the sorrow we are all feeling at the loss of Skip.  His family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Skip, I miss you so much! You were always so positive in life. You made everyone laugh and smile, Your bbq was amazing! You were always there for the girls and I and we love you so much. I never knew a greater man and who loved his wife more than you did. You were a great family man and will be missed greatly! Every time I go to the beach I will wave into the ocean, knowing your beauty is a part of it. Love you!

I miss you so much already Papa and I love you so much and I always will. I will  miss your constant picking on me and making your corny jokes and singing in the car to your music and just overall being such a positive and sunshine of a person every where you went. You were taken way too soon.. I know you're looking over me though and I hope I will make you proud. I really hope I can accomplish going into interior design or even home building like you, you were truly my inspiration and always will be. I love you Papa, so very much.

Skip will truly be missed.  It was very evident he loved his family.  At family gatherings, you knew he was  there. He was an avid fisherman. The fish will finally have a fighting chance. Skip you will be sorely missed by your friends and family. R.i.P my friend.

Skipper, I will truly miss our fishing trips from offshore and wade fishing at bolivar. Also the many nights of just throwing one link of sausage on the grill and slow cooking it so we could enjoy a few cold ones together and just have some great father in law to to son in law conversations. We had many great times together and you left us way to early. You will never be forgotten, you were a very special person to me. It was a honor to get your permissin to marry your daughter. I love you Skip and we will see each other again in the future and I really look forward to it. I love you man.

It was an honor to meet such a fun loving man. Always smiling and laughing. You could tell he really loved his family. He will truly be missed by all. Sending hugs and prayers.

Uncle Skip was one of the kindest men I knew in our family. He was funny and charismatic. He will be greatly missed by everyone. I offer my sincere condolences and love to Aunt Linda. Where ever he is, he is still looking down on you with love and always will.
