Steven Thomas Horton

Steven Thomas Horton was born on Thursday, September 28, 1978 in Pasadena, Texas. He passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 in Humble, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ann Preston and step-father, Jerry Preston.

Steven was an extremely intelligent man. He worked at various jobs within the industrial complex in the Pasadena area.

He was devoted to his mother. When she was experiencing difficulty in her fight with cancer, he took care of her for the last two years of her life.

Steven is survived by his father, Cecil W. Horton, his stepmother, Lois Horton, stepbrothers William (Bill) Tatum, Stephen Miller and Sean Miller, stepsisters Terri Smith, Gennie Cartee, and Susan Sparkman.

He was especially close to his neighbors, Sue Morton and Connie Hernandez. Mrs. Morton, next door neighbor, treated him like her own son from the time he was born, and Mrs. Hernandez was always available for him - especially after losing his mother.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, at 11:00AM at the Apostolic Church of Pasadena located at 4242 Red Bluff Road Pasadena, Texas.
