My sister Phyllisha is married to Tommy's son Randy. I only met Tommy a handful of times because I live in the Dallas area. Whenever I did see Tommy I found him to be most kind and friendly. He just made you feel comfortable. I know he loved his family more than anything and didn't want to leave this world because he would miss them all terribly.Tommy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Jacobs family at this time of loss.

Dear Dad,
I was so blessed to have you as my father and you will be forever missed. The welcomed phone calls and wonderful stories that you shared during our visits on what family members fondly call the Jacobs Loop. It showed your deep love and true commitment for your family and friends. I will embrace each sunrise as you did until I see you again.
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13

Love you always and forever.
Your daughter, Wendy.

Tommy Jacobs was one of the best people I've ever known. I was a childhood friend of his son Randy and spent a lot of days visiting the Jacobs home on Lily Street. Tommy or Mr. Jacobs as I knew him and his wife and kids always made me feel welcome. He also helped me get a job with Mundy after High School. He was a great husband, father, and role model. He may be gone but he'll never be forgotten by those lucky enough to know him.
