On March 15, 2019 Virginia Ashley Teller, 88, made her journey home to be with Jesus. She was born on February 1, 1931 to Aline and Sydney Ashley (both deceased) In Winter Haven, Florida, the youngest of 3 children. Virginia adored her brother Bill and her sister Nell (both deceased). It was there in Winter Haven that she met her husband of 64 years, a disc jockey at the local radio station, Richard Teller (preceding her in death in 2014) over a dedicated song “ who’s girl are you”. That became “their” song. They moved to Houston where they started their family and had two daughters, Jan Laman (married to Norm) and Kay Shaver (married to Doug).
Virginia is also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Jennifer(Tony), Melody (Joel), Joshua, Stephen (Sara), Richard (Diana) and Krista (Ryan)
And her 7 great grandchildren, Jordan, Joseph, Aiden, Ashton, Addison, Maddox and BreeAnna.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 23, 2019 at Pasadena
Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502A Celebration of Virginia’s life will follow at 2pm with Don Prescott officiating.
