Beverly Jean Ridgley

She was born on Oct. 21, 1935 and was a second-generation native of Paso Robles.

She had previously worked as a daycare provider until 1968 at which time she completed and graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant. Upon the death of her fist love Jimmie Payne in 1973, she once again returned to college and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She worked for and retired from Atascadero State Hospital.

She leaves behind her husband Charles W. Ridgley residing at Danish Care in Atascadero, two daughters Sharron Lord and Karrie Johnson both of Paso Robles, stepchildren Charles W. Ridgley Jr., Prescott, Ariz., Jim Ridgley, Jacksonville, Ore., Cathy Early of Pocahontasj Ark., two sisters Anne Kellebrew of SLO, June Blakeslee of Castle Rock, Colo., and brother William T. Botts of Reeds Spring, Mo., along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Payne, and parents, William T Botts Sr., and Buelah Waer.

We wish to thank the Danish Care Facility and their staff as well as Dr. Robert Hutchman and his staff for the great care they provided.

There will be a graveside service at the Paso Robles District Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at 11 a.m.
