Diane Marie Simmons (Miklos)
Diane, loving Mother, Sister, Daughter, Wife, passed away peacefully in her home in Paso Robles on August 19, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
Diane was born on February 21,1955 in Glendale, CA. The eldest of 3 sisters, she lived an adventurous life growing up with her loving family. Most memorable to her was when she lived on the family ranch in Orland, CA. This led to her great love for all animals. Later, with her parents and sisters, she enjoyed many adventures camping and dune-buggying in the California deserts. This set the path for her love and connection to the outdoors. As time went on, Diane became a mother and devoted herself to raising two amazing daughters. She took pride in her domestic duties and responsibilities. Her love for the outdoors continued to grow with family camping trips to lakes and fun boating adventures. Diane was always the center of her family and was known to have a big heart. She cherished and cared for her loved ones deeply and was always there to help in whatever way she could. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. Her loving heart, and ability to connect with people and animals left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Diane is survived by Alan, father of her two daughters Dana (John), Renee (Chris), her grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, John and Summer, her sister Linda (Larry), her niece and nephews, Jessica, Curtis, Samuel, David and Jeff (Meaghan), her Aunt Ellie, and cousins Michelle and Todd. Diane will be laid to rest in Creston, CA.
In lieu of flowers, Diane requested donations to local animal shelters of choice, which have always been so important to her.
