
1, 2022. in the comfort of her home with her life long
love by her side. Donna Jean Moore was born on a hot
August day in St. Louis, MO, Tuesday, August 8, 1939.
Donna was raised in Paso Robles, CA by her mother
Alma Conover. She graduated from Paso Robles High
School in 1957. She completed her training from the
School of Cosmetology in 1958. Donna married her
highschool sweetheart, Cletis Moore, on October 5,
1958.
Donna was all about fashion. She loved shoes and
had the shoe collection to prove it. But she had no
greater love than the love she had for her family,
including all her nieces and nephews. She loved to
entertain and was the happiest when the house was
full of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and
Bud Conover. She is survived by her husband, Cletis
Moore, and daughters, Kyleen Moore, Shawna
Caldwell (John), granddaughters Kylee St. John (Nick),
Shelby Ballo (Garrett), Allison Ellis (Matt), Kaycie
Emshoff (Cody), Hannah Caldwell, grandson Spencer
Caldwell, great grandchildren, Easton and Ava St.
John, Clyde Ballo, Austin Caldwell, Travis Emshoff,
Fletcher and Kylan Ellis. Also survived by many
beloved nieces and nephews.
So take the time to be sad but not for too long. Put on
your party dress, find your favorite fancy shoes and
celebrate knowing and having had the privilege of
having had Donna in your life.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 23,
2022, at 11am at Estrella Warbird Museum 4251 Dry
Creek Road Paso Robles, CA. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests considering donating to St. Jude’s
Children’s Hospital.
