Doug was the force behind Portney Construction of Paso Robles. His favorite past times were drinking, plinking and jeeping.
Doug is dearly missed by his beloved son, Jeffrey Tanner Portney, and his eight siblings, Deborah Kuntz, Kate Graham, Karen Brandon, Michael Portney, Marsha Root, Dennis Portney, Mark Portney and Kirsten Claassen, and his faithful companions, Superman and Miss Honey.
