Only new Jerry and Jeanie for a short while. We were neighbors in Mt Prospect il.  Became fast friends.

RICK TIBERGHIEN

I just got a notice from Richwoods with the Class of 67 index and noticed that Jerr was not on the list.  I knew right away that he had passed away.  He is missed by all his family and friends!!
Jerry and I grew up together in Peoria Heights, IL from Kindergarten through High School.  When I got back from Vietnam, Jerry was in the Ceramic Engineering Program at the U of I that I was also enrolled in.  That was a big surprise.   He went on to work after graduation and I stayed to complete my PhD. 
 Professionally we kept track of each other and talked some over the years.  Some about research projects and possibly working together on one, but mostly about growing up in the Heights and his Dad's Thunderbird, other classmates and the "Good Times" we had playing ball and roaming the Heights.   I was so surprised at the last Richwoods Reunion in 1967 to see him in such ill health.  Jerry has such a kind soul and may he rest in peace.
