June Faye Mary Cardinale

Junefaye M. Cardinale Kerndt (92) died of natural causes November 14th at her home in Paso Robles. June was born and raised in Malone, New York. June was a dancer in her younger years, and loved to reminisce about how she loved dancing. She moved to California in 1964 at the end of her first marriage, and worked in Santa Cruz where she met the love of her life Salvator Cardinale (Mr Home town). They married and started a new adventure together, opening up their own nursery “The Green Thumb” in Santa Cruz, their love of plants grew into a wonderful business, expanding into landscaping up and down the west coast. After 20 years they sold the business and retired to Paso Robles, Married for 40 Years, Sal passed away in 2006. In 2011 June met and married Kenneth Kerndt. Ken passed in 2014. June was an animal lover, and a member of the ASPC. Her little dog Magi was her constant companion, and by her side till the end. She loved her church family at Midstate Baptist Church and will be missed by her good friends and neighbors alike. She was proceeded in death by: her husbands, Salvalvator Cardinale, Kenneth Kerndt, Daughter Denise Diek. Step son Michael Cardinale. Parents: Louis and Elizabeth Fellion, Sisters: Irene Griffin, Ruth Wolf, Trudy Thompson. Brothers: Kenneth, Robert and Theodre Fellion. She is survived by her brother, Donald (Joanne) Fellion of Bonanza Oregon; Son in law Tony Diek. Stepsons, Salvatore R., John L. Cardinale; Stepdaughters Bernadette K. Brace, Debra P. Parlet; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, November 26th, at Midstate Baptist Church, Paso Robles. Donations may be made to the ASPC.
