September 7, 1946 - July 10, 2026
Kimberly was born in Chicago, IL and moved to California in
October of 1946. The family settled in Glendale, CA after a brief stay
in Lake Arrowhead, CA. It was right after WW2 and very difficult to
find housing.
The family eventually moved to San Jose, CA where Kim graduated
from Pioneer High School. She then enrolled and graduated from
Arizona Bible College.
Kim married James (Jim) Posey who tragically passed. She later
married Richard Morton in 1991. Kim and Richard moved to Paso
Robles, CA where they would stay for their remaining years. Kim also
served on the Grand Jury and the city counsel in Paso Robles for
several years.
Kim’s love for animals was central to who she was. As a dedicated
supporter of animal rescue, she made thoughtful, loving arrangements
for her two rescue dogs, Zoey and Sammy, ensuring they would always
be well cared for.
Kim is survived by her two sisters, Marcy Thimsen of Spokane, WA,
Sherron Posten of Seattle, WA and one brother Patrick Bradley and his
wife Nancy.
Kim had one son, Byron Posey who resides in Atascadero, CA and
two grandchildren, James Posey and Sierra Kenville, who was a close
companion and caregiver to her in her final years.
Kim attended Victory Baptist Church in Paso Robles and found
great comfort in her fellowship among its members and pastor Bruce
Fore.
Kimberly was a light in so many people’s lives and will be missed by
everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
