As a student at Paso High in the 70’s I remember Miss Ward as a caring and vibrant teacher who let me into her Girls PE class in my senior year so that I could complete the PE requirement. As a fellow teacher at Paso High in the 80’s Lindy was a joy to work alongside and was affectionately called Miss Lindy by her students as she looked out for their best interests. Thank you for 40 years of teaching and caring for students and for being a wonderful colleague and a beautiful soul.

Lindy was a gifted educator who truly  cared for each of her students.  My deepest condolences  go out to her family.

So sad to hear about the loss of Lindy.  She was my favorite PE teacher and I used to babysit her younger kids, Meghan and Molly when they were little in the log cabin house they built.  Mickey was a teenager then.   Lindy cared so much about the youth in Paso Robles.  She was instrumental in fighting for a 2nd bridge to be built to cross the river, saving students from dying in car accidents on dangerous River Road trying to get home from school.  Lindy, you were a light in this world who will be dearly missed.   Peace and love to your family.
