

MaryLou Putrino, 86, of Paso Robles, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at her home in Paso Robles having suffered a stroke. She was born May, 1928, to John Lucas and Alexandra (Semergioglou) Pappas. She grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia one of four children (Angela Pappas, Delores Kaplan, and Athena Tsilimidos).
MaryLous was baptized and raised Greek Orthodox. She believed that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior who died for the forgiveness of our sins. In 1953 MaryLou married Vincent Putrino and resided in Endicott, New York. She and Vince drove cross-country with their children settling in Burbank, California in 1960. In the 1970's Mary Lou was a supervisor for Automatic Radio (an 8-track playermanufacturer) and with Pepperidge Farms in the 1980's. She was primarily a meticulous homemaker the majority of her married life. In 2004 she moved to Paso Robles to be close to her grandchildren and fulfill her dream of building and furnishing a new home. MaryLou had a beautiful singing voice and loved to listen and sing to Greek and Italian music. She loved to cook Italian and Greek food for the gathering of family as well as her husband when he behaved. She loved playing penni-anni poker and shopping, shopping, shopping for bargains (Queen of bargain shopping); plus she was one very well-dressed, classy Lady. She will be more than greatly missed by ALL.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Vincent Putrino; son, Dino Putrino and wife, Cindy, as well as grandchiildren, CallaBria and Dante; her daughter, Dana Putrino and her life partner, Belinda.
