Honoring Michael “Mikey” Branske loving, loyal, and hard-working.Michael passed peacefully with family and friends at his side. He was born to, and survived by Donald J. and Arlene B. Branske in San Diego, California at Balboa Naval Hospital. He was raised in Garden Grove, CA with his four older brothers and two sisters. Joe, Paul, John, Donald, his twin Mary Moore, and youngest sister Annie Branske Peters cherished a strong family bond. The Branske bunch of seven has endless entertaining tales from their childhood years and beyond. Mike married his high school sweetheart, Shirley A. (Wheatley) Branske in June of 1980. Throughout 38 beautiful years of marriage they had a life of fun and adventure along with raising two wonderful children, Amber M. Frazier and William P. Branske. Mike worked for Mobil Oil and Chevron Pipelines, which took their family from Anaheim, CA to Paso Robles, CA in 1988 with a transfer to Clayton, CA in 1999. Mike and Shirley returned to Paso Robles in 2016. What Mike loved most was his wife, two children, family, and friends. He cherished hiking, camping, and fishing with them. He proudly worked hard to provide a full life, was always ready to lend a helping hand, never too busy for good food, music, dancing with his wife, or enjoying a game. He will be remembered as a devoted family man who was fun-loving, loyal, and hard-working - everybody loved Mikey!In Lieu of Flowers please donate to The Alzheimer’s Association.
