Patricia Marie Silveira

Patricia “Pat” Silveira, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at home on the Brown-Exline Family Ranch in Paso Robles after a courageous journey with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born on December 19, 1939, in Paso Robles, California, and spent her life deeply rooted in the community she loved.

Known to her classmates as Patty, she was a member of the Paso Robles Bearcat Marching Band. She continued to support music through the Atascadero Band Boosters, delivering the popcorn machine to every Atascadero High School home football game. She was known for her spunky personality, resilient spirit, and unwavering kindness. She faced life’s joys and challenges with determination and grace. Even with her illness, her loving heart never faded.

Pat began her career as a telephone operator for Pacific Telephone. Later, she worked for the Atascadero Unified School District in the cafeteria and school yard, where a generation of children came to know her. She was passionate about supporting young people and dedicated many years to leading Lakeview 4-H, mentoring countless youth and helping them build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong friendships. She was also a proud member of the Farm Bureau Women, where she faithfully supported the agricultural community that meant so much to her.

Above all, Pat’s greatest joy was her family. She was the heart of the Silveira family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and tradition. She enjoyed spending time with her family, celebrating life’s milestones, and making memories.

Pat is survived by her husband, Tony Silveira, her children, Susan Silveira, Patrick Silveira (John Feliciano), and Nancy Silveira Johnston (Marc Johnston), her sister, Janet Tullock, her grandchildren, Sean Chizek (Leanne Hsu), Kayla Chizek, Hunter Edwards (Taylor Edwards), Nicolette Scher and her great-granddaughter, Rowan Chizek-Hsu. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe C. and Margaret Brown, and her brother, Joey Brown.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, generosity, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her example of strength, kindness, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her memory will live on in her family, the community she served, and the countless lives she touched throughout her remarkable life.
